Rundle Partners is an entrepreneurial investment firm based in Toronto. It focuses on buyouts of high-quality Canadian businesses with an enterprise value of C$10-100M. We seek to invest in profitable companies that have potential to thrive and grow for decades to come. The firm is currently sourcing high-quality private companies in Canada to acquire.

Position Overview

Rundle is currently hiring two analyst interns for our downtown Toronto office for the Summer 2025 internship program (May to August, with flexible start dates). 

Interns will be involved in all aspects of Rundle’s investment process, with particular focus on investment thesis development, deal sourcing and execution, and portfolio company value creation initiatives. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and screen high potential targets, leveraging primary and secondary research
  • Build relationships with investment targets to create investment opportunities
  • Analyze and value businesses to inform an investment recommendation
  • Propose investment decisions – with a deal thesis – for high-potential opportunities
  • Model 

Selection Criteria
We are looking for candidates with a rare combination of skills and attributes:

  • A strong interest in private equity, entrepreneurship-by-acquisition and/or investing
  • High judgment – in assessing people, businesses & opportunities
  • Exceptional analytical abilities to analyze and value investment opportunities
  • Strong communication skills to clearly articulate proposed investment decisions
  • An entrepreneurial disposition: Resourceful, self-motivated and results-oriented

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program.

Additional Information
The Associate will be expected to work from Rundle’s office in Toronto, Canada, with occasional remote work.
